FAQs
-
Every custom piece starts with a conversation. Please complete the online questionnaire to share your story and vision. Following this, we'll schedule a video call to delve deeper into your inspirations, discuss design possibilities, and outline the journey ahead.
-
That is perfectly okay. Many of the most meaningful pieces begin not with a clear vision, but with a feeling — a moment to mark, a threshold crossed. My role is to listen, ask the right questions, and gently help shape what wants to be created.
-
The creation process usually spans approximately 3 months, encompassing initial consultations, design development, prototyping, and final crafting. This timeline ensures each piece is thoughtfully and meticulously brought to life.
-
Absolutely. Transforming heirloom gold into a new creation is a meaningful way to honor your family's legacy. We can melt and recast your gold into a bespoke design that carries both personal and ancestral significance.
-
Given the precious nature of custom creations, they are not shipped via standard postal services. For clients in Europe, pieces are delivered using secure, high-end shipping services, or carried by myself when travelling to Europe every 6 months. For clients in the United States, arrangements are made on a case-by-case basis, often involving personal delivery or trusted couriers.

Yes. I offer beautifully presented gift invitations that make it possible to offer someone a deeply personal, one-of-a-kind experience — perfect for life transitions, celebrations, or simply honoring someone you love.
-
Yes. Many clients work with me from afar. We meet via video call, I share sketches, ideas, and updates throughout the process, and your piece is shipped securely once complete. You do not need to be present physically to be fully involved.
Engagements & Weddings
-
Yes. I offer intimate workshops where couples can craft their own engagement or wedding rings. These sessions are available in Brussels (Belgium) and Asheville (United States). Depending on your preferences, we can follow existing designs or co-create unique pieces together.

Yes, I accept returns if there is a practical problem with your order (something is broken, something is missing, you did not receive the size you indicated etc.).
It is important to note that I make every single order just for you, based on your exact request. This allows me to adapt to any demand (another stone, a slightly different size than initally) and to place love in each creation, imagining to whom it will go. This also means that for each return, I will have to restart the entire process of making the piece, which can take time.
For these reasons, I would love for you to really ensure you are communicating everything you desire rightly to me. This particularily applies to rings. Each ring, even more than any other piece is tailored made for you. If you return it, I can never be sure somemone else will want this exact size. Therefore, I encourage you to consult all the resources on my website to understand your exact size, and order the right piece for you.
Nevertheless, I will never leave you with an item that does not fit you. I promise.
All returns fees are to be paid by yourself. It is necessary to pay for track and trace for your piece back to me, and for your new piece, the post looses packages too often.
-
Yes. If your piece involves a stone, I will propose a curated selection of options based on your values and aesthetic. I work only with trusted partners and can source recycled, antique, or lab-grown stones depending on your preference.
Workshops
-
Private workshops encompass personalized instruction, all necessary materials, and thoughtful amenities such as beverages, seasonal treats, and a nourishing lunch. The experience is tailored to your intentions, whether you're marking a personal milestone or exploring the art of jewelry making.
-
Not at all. Whether you're new to jewelry making or have some experience, the workshops are designed to meet you where you are, providing guidance and support throughout the creative process.

Materials & Care
-
I prioritize sustainability and quality, using recycled gold & and traceable stones. Each piece is crafted with care, ensuring it is both beautiful and environmentally conscious.
-
All Emwa pieces are crafted in solid gold or sterling silver, designed to be worn every day — in water, in sleep, in movement. They are made to live with you, not apart from you. Over time, they will soften and evolve, holding the marks of your daily life.
