Custom Designs

A story you can wear. A memory you can anchor.
A symbol made matter.

The custom projects we create at Emwa Jewelry are a deep dive into what matters most in your life at this moment. A cherished person who has passed. A friendship you want to mark and honor. An energy you want to embody, yet that you often forget, carried by the fast pace of life.

Each piece begins with a conversation, a pause, a moment to connect to what truly matters to you. We translate that essence into gold, gemstones, textures and forms, so it can accompany you each day.

These creations are made to hold meaning over time, quietly present on your body, alive with story. I open only a few custom design spaces each season, to give each one the attention and presence it deserves. If something is calling — a moment to mark, a feeling to carry, a symbol ready to take form — you are welcome to share a few words with me, and we will begin the conversation.

“When I look at the ring I created to honor my grandmother, Odile, I always feel she is with me. Carrying that gold piece - knowing it can stay on me, with me, every single day - and remembering how it connects me to her feels so dear to my heart. Then, looking in the mirror and seeing my necklace, made to remind me of my joyful essence, my need for laughter, dance, and art in life, reminds me to take care of that - today, now - if I have not yet focused on it”

Past projects & stories

The first step: feeling into the connection.

Our journey begins with a simple conversation, to meet and confirm that we feel a connection, and that we are meant to create together. As I take on only one project each month, to give it my full attention and care, each collaboration is chosen with intention. This first exchange brings quiet clarity. When it is right, we both feel it.

To begin, fill out this short questionnaire. Once received, I will reach out to schedule a 30-minute meeting—online or in person—where we can explore your vision more closely. I will ask you a few questions, listen carefully, and begin to imagine how this piece might come to life.

By the end of our conversation, you will have a clear understanding of the estimated budget, and we will both know—naturally and without pressure—if we wish to move forward together. All custom designs start at 7500.-

Part 1: Listening to the messages you want to infuse & the look you love

In our second meeting, we take the time for a deeper exchange. I will invite you to share more about your story, what matters most to you, and what you wish to honor through this piece. You will be invited to bring visual inspirations—a Pinterest board, colors, textures, or forms that speak to you—and together, we begin to unfold your universe.
With experience and sensitivity as my compass, I often intuit shapes, symbols, or words you may not have spoken yet—but that feel instantly true. This is the moment when the essence of the piece begins to quietly take form.

Part 2: Sketching & refining until a true yes comes.

Then, your story will begin to take form through sketches and drawings. Not from a fixed idea, but rather from a feeling, a thread, a shape that starts to emerge. Sometimes it’s immediate — a clear image that wants to be born. Other times, it takes a few iterations. Week by week I will share these sketches with you, and we will refine them together, adjusting until something in you says yes. There’s no rush, this process is about creating something that resonates deeply. A piece that feels absolutely stunning, where every detail has a reason to be.

Part 3: Creating as a ceremony and transfromation

Then, in the studio, I begin the making of your jewelry — with full presence, and deep care for the process. Each step is done with intention. I stay connected to the meaning of what we’re shaping, and share updates — photos, videos — for you to give your inputs, and understand that you are entirely part of the process. Often, I will ask you questions as I feel into the details. You are never just receiving the finished piece — you are part of the creation, from start to end.

Part 4: A story to carry forward

Finally, after many hours of careful work, your piece is ready.
Made of precious materials, it now carries something personal — a memory, a message, a moment you wanted to honor. A quiet truth you want to keep close. It is here to walk with you, to be worn and lived with, close to your skin and your daily life, as an anchor.

However it settles into your world, my hope is that it brings presence, meaning, and a sense of quiet strength — something that gently reminds you of who you are, and what matters most.

  • Not at all. Many of my clients arrive with only a feeling, a story, or a moment they wish to honor.
We begin with a conversation — and from there, I help you shape the idea into a jewel that feels right. You do not need to have it all figured out. That is what the process is for: to unfold gently, together.

FAQ — A few things you may wonder

  • Every custom design begins at 7,500.–. From there, the design itself, the chosen materials, and the precious stones will define the final estimate. Simpler creations often remain close to this starting point. Throughout the process, we will thoughtfully weave your desires with your budget, ensuring both transparency and artistry at every step.

  • Of course — I believe beauty and meaning should be accessible with care. Most clients choose a one, three or six-part payment plan, and we can adjust timing to suit your rhythm. Everything will be discussed transparently during our discovery call.

  • Yes absolutely. If you have heirloom gold or stones with sentimental value, I can often work with them to create something new while honoring their story. Let me know in the form or during our call.

  • Absolutely. Every piece I create carries intention. Whether you are marking a life passage, honoring a relationship, or anchoring a transformation, we can shape a design that holds your energy, symbols, or even words, visibly or invisibly.

  • Absolutely. Whether you have something in mind or not at all, I’ll guide you through the possibilities — ethically sourced stones, subtle engravings, meaningful shapes — until it feels just right.

  • Yes. I regularly create for clients across Europe and the United States. Our calls are held online, and your jewelry is either carried to your by myself in person, or shipped fully insured and beautifully wrapped. Wherever you are.

  • If you have a significant date in mind — a wedding, birth, anniversary, or goodbye — I’ll do my best to honor your timeline if the studio allows. Just mention it in the form, and we’ll see what’s possible.

  • This process is not about rushing. If something in you is drawn to this experience, you are welcome to fill out the form — it is simply the beginning of a conversation. From there, we can feel together whether it is the right moment.

Gabi’s testimony

"Emma is fantastic. After Sam bought one of the rings from her collection as engagement ring... We immediately thought about her when we discussed our wedding bands. We went to her with an idea and she turned it into reality. She sent us the prototypes of the rings in very short time and they were already perfect 🥰 We loved chatting with her and discussing ideas. We can't wait to have another jewellery project in our head just to work with her again." Rox & Sam

"We called on Emma for a rather special request. We had some old jewelry belonging to my grandmother. Unfortunately, they were no longer to our taste. So my mom and my sister and I wanted to create something that would unite the three of us. As my mom already had a gold band, we decided to ask Emma to create 2 other identical bands, as well as a ring from her existing collection. Emma listened, advised and, above all, explained the whole creation process! We were really able to follow the whole process, step by step. I'm so happy to have called on her magnificent talent and creativity for this project, which was very close to our hearts. What's more, supporting a young craftswoman was essential for us."
