Emma Olyff

Emwa Jewelry was born from a desire to honor what is sacred, personal, and enduring. I create jewelry as a form of storytelling — each piece designed to carry memory, emotion, and meaning. Guided by sensitivity and intuition, I allow the creative process to be a quiet dialogue: between metal and soul, gesture and silence, past and becoming.

My work invites slowness in a world of speed. It is a movement toward meaning, presence, and beauty — an invitation to live, dress, and remember with intention.

In an increasingly standardized world, our most precious pssessions are those that carry meaning and stories.

Presence through connection

Emwa is guided by sincerity and presence — a personal, honest voice that invites dialogue, reveals the creative process, and honors authenticity above all.

Creation as Devotion

Each piece is an act of devotion — uniting art, generosity, and nature in a quiet celebration of shared beauty.

Conscious & Collective

Emwa stands for mindful creation — rooted in ethical values, spiritual awareness, and a sense of community among artisans and souls who seek meaning beyond form.

Biography
Emma is the founder, designer, and maker behind Emwa Jewelry — a collection of custom, symbolic pieces handcrafted since 2017. Her creations have been shipped internationally, featured in ELLE Magazine and Flair Belgium, exhibited in six European boutiques, and presented at various design fairs. She has collaborated with inspiring figures such as Aline Van Roey, Chloé Chian, Alix Rufas, or Fleuropean, and has taught over 40 students — some of whom now craft their own collections.

Rooted in a lineage of artists and artisans, Emma grew up surrounded by graphic designers, stylists, sculptors, garden architects, and painters. Her earliest creative memories include afternoons in her father's bronze workshop, absorbing the scent of wax and the quiet rhythm of hand tools. She made her first metal jewelry at nine and began collecting handmade pieces during her travels — instinctively drawn to their weight, soul, and story.

After years of self-learning, Emma apprenticed in Utrecht, Brussels, and Asheville, refining her technique while deepening her ethical and spiritual relationship with the craft. Today, she works from her home studio in the Appalachian mountains and a shared space in the city.

Artistic Statement
Emwa Jewelry was born from a desire to honor what is sacred, personal, and enduring. I create jewelry as a form of storytelling — each piece designed to carry memory, emotion, and meaning. Guided by sensitivity and intuition, I allow the creative process to be a quiet dialogue: between metal and soul, gesture and silence, past and becoming.

I craft with ethically sourced materials and offer the rare service of recycling heirloom gold — transforming inherited pieces into new forms while preserving their emotional imprint. Every curve, engraving, and texture holds intention. These are not just objects, but companions — designed to be worn daily, to mark life’s passages, to remind us of what matters most.
